Proverbial baking
I am back from .... wherever. Lots has been going on, so I'll jump in where I am and if older topics arise, I'll write about them then!
In January, I got the flu. Bad, bad stomach flu.
In mid-February, I was still throwing up. I had a fantabulous trip planned with my 3 bestest friends, but was so ill I almost didn't go. At about an hour until I needed to leave for the airport, I still hadn't packed for my cruise! Michael finally looked at me and made it clear that I either was going to suck it up, pack and get on a plane to Florida to meet the boat or he was going to declare me in a physical state of emergency and take me to the hospital.
I packed.
Had a great time on the trip. My Getaway Girls are the best! Then, got stuck in Florida for an extra day through a resevations mix-up. Damn. Another day in Florida....
Finally got home and a few days later was ready to go out with my honey to celebrate our 2 year anniversary.
Got all the way downstairs, put my coat on and immediately felt sick.
Michael again looked at me strangely. This time, he made another announcement. He said, " Something's up with you. Instead of taking you out to dinner right now, I think we need to go to the pharmacy and get a pregnancy test. "
Um, huh?
So, on my 2 year anniversary, we celebrated by perusing the aisles at Walgreens and then me getting to go home and pee on a stick.
Um, yeah.

Hahaha. Turns out I didn't have the flu for 2 months after all.
I'm now 4 months along. Everything is going well, and we expect to learn whether to buy pink or blue on our next appointment in about 3 weeks. My due date is October 5!
Wow.
So, I will post sonogram pics and hahah preggy pics of me fairly soon, now that I'm back to blogging.
