Going forward

Sighhhh. Only one official evening left. Tomorrow morning, I report back to school to begin the new year.

I feel somewhat optimistic because I am determined to be more organized and have already planned a few of the units I need for the year, as well as gotten some supplies to help me keep myself together.

However, I am still disappointed that until now, I haven't really been inspired to finish the overhaul of the apartment and so I will still be in the midst of CHAOS (can't have anyone over syndrome, a la Flyladyese) as we start the year.

Even still, things are getting better, I am just realizing that it's going to take a little longer than I had hoped to get things done. I have also realized that it is much easier to build a routine when you simply HAVE to get up because you need to go to work. 15 minutes at a time, I am going to conquer my clutter-hoarding, and therefore, in essesence, conquer my childhood!

In other news, very special congratulations to my dear friend, Amy, who can now officially claim her title as a "film screenwriter." Her 15 page script won a writing competition sponsored by Austin's Reel Women, and will soon be made into a short film. Way to go, AMY!!!

Must go now, I am going out to spend my last day of freedom relaxing at the movies!
